Medium Fir

If you wish to create a more rustic, natural forest appearance, Medium Fir Bark is right for you. We screen this material to give it a more natural woodsy appearance.
USES:
To acidify soils around acid loving plants i.e.: azaleas, blueberries, and rhododendrons. Use on sloped areas, pathways, running trails. Mulch helps retain moisture in the soil. Helps control weeds when applied at 3-4" deep.
APPLICATION:
Apply 3-4" deep for new landscaped areas and 1-2" for coloring established beds.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Douglas Fir Bark screened at 2.5 inches. Material ranges from 3" down to fines. Orange-Brown color.
