Old Bark Dust
Old Bark Dust has been aged and is ideal for covering freshly sewn grass seed. It can also be used as mulch around plants.
USES:
In residential and commercial landscapes as a soil acidifier to decrease the pH around acid loving plants i.e.: azaleas, blueberries, and rhododendrons. As a grass seed cover to help retain moisture around newly sewn seeds. Helps control weeds when applied at 3-4" deep.
APPLICATION:
As a mulch apply 3-4" deep for new landscaped areas and 1-2" for coloring established beds. As seed cover apply 1/4-1/2" to cover seeds.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Aged Douglas Fir Bark Screened at 1/4" minus (material size ranges from 1" down to fines).
Orange-brown color. Available at each of our retail locations.
